Default New old wheels - Hit or Miss

My first proper post about my new to me S2000. Standard wheels have good but old tyres on them and I had these wheels in the garage for 10 years since I wrote off my last S2000. So I put the new tyres on them(Eagle F1's). I like the look, more importantly the wife likes the look. But what do you guys think?

Wheels are 'ROTA', the orginal hubs are shot so these were Aliexpress specials, looking for some better quality ones in dues course.

You made a thread with the sole purpose of asking people if they like how YOUR wheels look on YOUR car?

Do whatever you want man! It's your car.

For what it's worth, my opinion is "meh", def not great but also not horrible.

I just thought I'd start a conversation, that's the point isn't it? For what it's worth they look better with the top off/down as they match the red and black leather.

Most people come here to ask a concrete question, not really just asking opinion on if they like how your car looks. But yes you can do it if you want

But my honest feedback about that was that I think you should make the car look how you want it to look and not care about others.
If I tell you the wheels look terrible, are you going to remove them because somebody on the internet doesn't like them?

If you're looking for opinions, I prefer the OE wheels on your car. I am, in general, not a fan of black rims.

I tend to agree with the hard top on. However with the black roof up or down the contrast is better. As I have both though maybe I'll go for another tyre on the standard rims.

I prefer the look of the OEM wheels, especially if running OEM width, offset, and tire sizes.

Not a fan of black wheels (anymore) unless they're being used for the track as a lazy way to avoid having to constantly clean up brake dust and tire marbles.

But, they don't look bad. I'd say that they're "period" correct for when this car was in production and that style wheel was fairly popular.
