Real soon Jane, real soon. Actually, the 2003's are coming in soon, so I'm waiting so that I can get a good deal on the 2002's that aren't sold yet. But yeah, after being on this thing for more than a month, how can I not=). Wow, so really, you really cleared out your corners for that cheap? I guess it helps to know people. You're hardcore Jane=)

nvrquit, how long did it take you guys to clear it out? did you use oven method or heat gun or other? btw, albert's is the berlina/red behind my car and he painted his red too. picture reference for your decision between red/silver

albert, they are holding up great and still deep & shiny red! how do you like yours? so worth the 6-7 hours we were out there. not the 100+ degree weather though

rich, i think you can do it yourself pretty easily, maybe with someone overseeing. i think it's about $150 at generation one.
i was on the same boat about buying the car. 2 weeks on this site and i couldn't take it anymore
what color? last year for the all red interiors.

Jane, the red is looking great. I'm actually hoping that it will darken and dingy up a little bit soon though, because it's a little more of an orange-based red than I had hoped. Not that big of a deal though.

PS - Beth's Cooper S is coming in about a week, and I get to do the painting caliper thing all over again! This time in blue (already have the G2 kit).

trayn - a couple of great guys (red blur and pappy) from the Clearwater area did it for me. I really had VERY little to do with it. We messed around quite a bit but I guess overall about 3 hours, maybe less if we stuck to it. We used the "oven method."

A couple of the guys in our club around here now want me to show them how to do it after seeing my car last week. Hopefully we'll have similar success.

Jane, the color is my big dilemma right now. I thought it would be much easier than this. I don't know if I want to get the same exact color as yours, yellow, or suzuka blue. I saw the suzuka blue, and it looked real nice. But maybe it's too pretty of a color. Do guys really look right in that color? Oh and Jane, what is generation one? Is it a shop?
