To be honest, I prefer the old GC-07C design much better but we asked Prodrive to design a lighter wheel with even better brake clearance so this is what they came up with. They were designed for maximum brake clearance without sacrificing offset and blowing out fenders. NO OTHER wheel for the S2000 can even come close to the kind of brake clearance as the GC-07.

It's hardly a comparison to the China-made cast aluminum Motegi wheels. The Prodrive's are one-piece forged aluminum wheels made by Ray's. But I guess no one really cares about quality or fitment these days so I guess you could save a lot of money and just got with the Motegi's.
Only knock i have on the wheel is it looks.. to the average person they couldnt tell a difference between the Motegi or Prodrive. It just doesnt look like anything that you would have to wait for and pay a decent price for. It looks like something pep boys would offer.

I wished they would have stuck to the 07C design. Not digging how flat the wheel face is. The old design had a more convexed face which looked so much better.
+1
this was my first impression as well

I like the old GC07 a lot more than this wheel, Reminds me of the old Advans (I think they were the ones Motegi copied). I am sure they are a high quality well built wheel, but the look does nothing for me

It does look better in white though

While I do think they look a lot like the Motegi wheels, I don't think they're THAT bad looking. (This coming from an owner of a set of the original GC-07s )

I do appreciate the fact that Prodrive took aftermarket brake caliper clearance and the S2000's funky offsets into consideration when designing this wheel. I also dig how the spokes go all the way to the edge now, giving the illusion of a bigger wheel. If anything, this could be considered an evolution or refinement of the GC-07, IMO.

Hey Tommy, is the Berlina running 18s or 17s? It looks so simple, yet badassed
