I had a bitch of a time lining up those suckers too. One side is about 1/4" lower than the other too. but it's impossible to visually notice, ...the only way I knew was the floor jack wouldn't slide under one side.

car looks great man! I've been searching for a front bumper to flow with the sides now, ...your pulls it off nicely.

I think they are the Shine Auto diffusors. I have the AJR diffusers and they are just straight with no curves or grooves.

Yes, they're the Shine auto ones. You can get them at Go Tuning. Thanks for the kind words everyone, and I definitely appreciate mic-crispy's well-thought-out *constructive* suggestions.

However, you gotta understand that this car is a joint effort with me and my kid. If it were all up to me, I'd paint all the CF (but leave some showing on the hood louvers), lose the eyelids, clear the corners, gotten flat black Meisters, etc.

But he hates that "clean" look. Says it looks boring. The overall concept behind this car is to replicate something out of The Fast and the Furious (that's what started all this for both of us). He was only 5 at the time! Took Holy Hell from his mom about taking him, but that's what Dads are for, I figure. You let your wife raise your son, and you end up with (politically incorrect statement here).

So the car looks kinda like a Hot Wheels to me. Hey, it's just a fun car. I'm not trying to make it look like a Porsche or convince anyone I'm a Baller (at 41, I'm still not 100% on all these terms!).

He does agree about clearing the corners, BTW. We just need to get around to doing it. Next is definitely the Spoon diffuser! It's sitting right in the middle of my living room taunting me: "Put me on...put me on....PUT ME ON YOU LAZY SHIT!!!"

wow, Kondor that's SO AWESOME how it's a REAL joint project with your son where he's actually making some decisions. i love how you take it lightly and treat it as a fun project. i asked my dad if he and i could start something like that when i was in like 8th grade but he wasn't up for it lol

best of luck. you're a cool dad. and it's ok if you think it looks like a Hot Wheels car cause at least it's SCed on 9psi!

Thanks again guys. And BTW, you all should check out mic_crispy's righteous JDM style super-clean and subtle S2000. I wish I had a second S2000 just so I could do the JDM look on it. Oh well!

Well, the spoon diffuser goes on next, and we're waiting on the new Mastergrade MG2 CF trunk. Which means I'll have a CF BYS spoiler for sale soon!

I think after that it's the interior. Mainly because Alex is increasingly obsessed with...ghost flames <cringe>. At least he hates neon, right? Still - I gotta distract the little guy before my car starts looking like a pimp-mobile

I'm 99% sure we're getting a Brix II for the driver. Or maybe something cool like a Zeta III for the driver and a Brix II for the passenger. We both like the idea of having a "special" seat for the driver. Either way, they'll be blue of course to match the interior. We're also waiting on some CF door panels to ship (the seller is taking a long time - kinda worried actually). Lastly, we're getting JPM to do a blue alcantara shift boot, elbow pad, and door panels. If I could figure out a way to cover the dash properly in blue alcantara, I'm guessing neither of us could resist. But I'm thinking that may never happen. I *did* see a righteous Supra once with a grey Alcantara interior, so maybe it's not so far-fetched (I don't even want to think of the cost though).

Hmmm...OK I can't think of anything else. Mic - I wanna go on that tour! I forgot to ask if my kids will be with me that weekend. I'll PM you ASAP.
