It looks like you used a hose adapter where the PCV valve should go in the valve cover. Any reason you did that?

THe pcv vaule was in a diff spot on this cover than my original. That is a pcv vaulve. It threads in there. I think the vaulve is off a mazda.

Sorry, it interrupt the topic but you safety wired the oil cap in the wrong direction, it's pulling toward the loosening direction. Just thought you wanted to know...
