I am thinking of going with that combo instead of coilovers because I'm lazy, and adjusting the coilovers seems like a PITA. Would the Espelir/Koni route be recommended for street performance driving? Would it disintegrate my factory handling prowess or improve it?

My other options (due to price) are Megan coilovers or Bilstein Pss9

I have the same set up but have since changed to the upper perch when i moved to NYC. Koni will give you a .5" drop on the lower perch settings. Espelirs provide a 1.3" drop so in total you have 1.8" of drop with the Espelir/Koni lower perch set up.
