I think maybe you should have worded your original post a little better then as it seems to make claims that our forum is full of a bunch of ricers. Not always the best move to name-call a group of people in their own environment.

Not to nit-pick, but I doubt that your red Honda badges and sidemarkers made you go faster on the track. You're going to find that most people on car forums mod their car to their liking...I don't think that necessarily makes them ricers.

Good day.
well your right i should of worded it better.. my saying was the Ricer crowd is now able to get S2ks i havent seen a riced s2k on here once.. and Roja my car came with the Red badges and Side Markers i didnt put them on there. and just because the ricer crowd is getting s200 isnt my only reason im getting rid of the S2k. im ready for something else and i really liked my old FD when i had the Original motor in it. MY old FD was built wrong horribly wrong.. when i first got my FD when the original motor was in it the car was awesome.. no problems no kinks. i daily drove it but once i blew the motor at the track * Oil pressure Dropped and blew a Apex Seal* EVERYTHING in the car was 14 years old.. so the new motor pretty much denied everything.. so i ended up fixing a lot of stuff. and the motor didnt boost because the mechanic didnt know how to put a rotary togetheer and Today i know what he did wrong.. but this one is built with 3mm apex seals built by a reputable company with a warrenty up to 30k miles. which covers my butt on the motor part.. and every reliability mod is done to the car Dual oil coolers Large Koyo Radiator Custom Radiator Duct.. And it runs on E85 so i dont have to worry about expensive gas.. seeing as though the FDs are going up and this one is BUilt COrrectly the value will keep going up.. and i can always sell it for more when im ready for another car.

Beautiful FD. I looked at those cars once upon a time, and then I had some friends buy them, and replace the turbos... and the apex seals... and the rotors... and the wastegates.... and the turbos again... and the apex seals again...

Seriously, an FD engine is good for about 50k miles before it needs extensive work... and that is bone stock. Mod it and you lower that average.

Still, beautiful car. I am glad you are happy with the trade.

I say get the FD, that way there is one less Ricer in an S2000.

I don't even want to know how many hundreds of $$'s you spent on your hardcore track hood but a Hondata gasket, Spoon or Mugen T-stat would have given you cooler and more consistent temps at the track than the hood for far less money. Not to mention you wouldn't have Ricer-ass unpainted body panels on your car.

But good luck with your FD!!

It's "OK" to move on although he is not really "moving" up or down, he is staying pretty much in the same level but, saying "ricers" blah blah blah while "ricer" it's present on his car, it kinda offends some people like me, yes, in my case I am looking for an NSX with already the $ on the bank (keeping the S) now, if i get tomorrow the right one one, do i need to come here and say "due ricers and retards blah blah blah" .... mmm no ... it's all about how you approach that's all ...

if the only reason you are giving up a car is because its in the "ricer" crowd, you are retarded. every car is in the ricer crowd, stop driving and start walking if thats the case.
