Default New wheels for Daily

So I bought these BBS RK's in relatively rough shape

I made 3 attempts at refinishing them until they came out the way I liked. Struggled with getting the right colors and for the paint to stick at first...

Sanded (1st time)

Ready for primer

Primed (1st time)

Painted (1st time)

Paint was rough and did not stick on the sides...

Decided to go a different route for color and tried gunmetal...had the same problem and color didn't stick.

I didn't like the gunmetal so I decided to go back to silver and do it once and for all...

Sanded and primered...(3rd time)

And finished...

And on car...

I know, I know the car needs to be dropped. It actually sits lower than stock and has a smaller wheel gap even being a bigger wheel. Car just comes ridiculously high from the factory. The tires that came with the rims are garbage so won't even consider how the car feels until after new rubber is purchased.

Let me know your thoughts, good or bad.

That is definitely a lot of hard work man

I found it a lot easier just to dip my wheels. If I didn't like the color, I would just redip them.

I just wanted something permanent. Looking back though, if I had to do it all over, plasti dip may not have been a bad option to just get them on the car and go.
