like someone said in the above post, i thought the volks had a bit better offset and the ce28's were lighter.

I think the Volks are lighter, but not sure by how much.

I'm not a wheel expert or know that much about offsets and widths. But I believe the Mugens have a better offset in the rear because the actual width is 12.7mm [0.5"] narrower than the Volks and the difference in the offset is only 4mm. Which in turn means that the Mugen has a better offset since they're not as wide as the Volks, but almost have the same offset.

Volks
17x7.5 +50 offset
17x9 +63 offset

Mugen
17x7.5 +52 offset
17x8.5 +59 offset
