what happened to your wheels?
When I said winterized, thats what I was referring to . My rims had SO tires mounted and its to cold now for them

@NFRs2000NYC:

Nope, no black edges, those shots were straight from the camera (although I cropped a little of the second one).

To everyone else:

Thanks for the comments, come spring when I can get my old rims back on expect some (hopefully) good shots to be on the way

I didn't spell it right.

vignette |vin?yet| noun 1 a brief evocative description, account, or episode. 2 a small illustration or portrait photograph that fades into its background without a definite border.

Jon, this is what Jake is talking about.....

vignetting....

See the dark circular corners? This is common with wide angle lenses.

Im just trying to figure out if ALL wide angle lenses do that, or mine isnt the proper size for my camera (which I suspect)....

Ah, yes it would be because the size is not quite perfect. In my case the sigma fits perfectly to my camera (thus no black sides, although I did add in black borders).

Usually a lot of fisheye lenses have these problems unless you get a real nice one

lots of Zoom Distortion....I hate that. cool concepts though. try playing with the white balance or fill in light to aid the saturation and try moving the camera closer to the subject without or with minimal zooming. If its a cheap lens the distortion is worse.

I took photography in college for 2 semesters and i just got my 1st real DSLR and have been learning the tricks of this new concept.
