Default Nexmod Mugen Style Lip

I finally after many months got my Nexmod mugen style lip installed and painted. But my girlfriend pointed out that the lip sits lower than the side profile of the car making it look out of place. :/

Sooooo i had a little idea, why not paint the side black and allow it to blend in with the side of the car. So i masked it off in black tape to get the disired effect. Let me know what you guys think and if i should go ahead and paint it black.

Angle profile w/black

Angle profile normal

Side profile w/black

A straight side profile shot would make it much easier to judge. I can't really tell how it lines up with the angles you took. Try to get the whole side of the car lit properly as well...too many shadows

Yeah i understand, i'll take some today. This was just a quick show n tell.

The lip sits about 2.25" lower than the side of the car.

Too bad its not CF. Then u could have not painted that area (leaving the CF exposed instead of just painting it black). Then add CF side diffusers.

The idea behind it flowing up like that is to direct the air under the front bumper and the winglet i guess functions to stabalize the air around the bumper.

It works great actually. Turn in is noticibly improved, as it provides just the right amount of front end braking stabilty.
