Default A nice day for a cruise down A1A with top down...

Just realized why there was no traffic, I guess Introductions are just to stop by and say an initial hello...not a good place for continual photography updates...

Anyway, took hard top off (waiting to put soft top back on under it, previous owner removed it) and enjoyed the 80 plus degree weather in Florida on Sunday. Also took the front lip difuser/protector off after it catching on a raised manhole cover and doing some damage to the oem lip.

Noice.

Nice to see how that diffuser looks on an OEM+ car. Was planning on doing that in the spring, glad to see how it looks first.

Thanks, man...yeah, previous owner Mirabileboy did a good job keeping it oem looking and I intend to only add to that. After Sunday, I ended up pulling that diffuser though. It takes away about an inch of clearance and has caught on a few things already where I'm fairly certain the lip would have cleared on its own.

The carnage on Sunday wasn't TERRIBLE, but I slightly cracked the oem lip when the manhole cover snagged the plastic diffuser/protector and ripped the middle bolt out. Put a bunch of spiderweb cracks in the clear on the recently repainted from bumper too. Guess that'll force me to finally get the front bumper repainted, previous owner had scraped it on his garage. I have a friend that paints, so I'll likely revisit it. For now, I applied some putty glaze with my finger and touch up paint. Got the job done for my OCD.

The look of the gutted top, top down is really so much nicer than w/ the top folded down.

...I agree, but the inability to go topless on most days with the fickle Florida weather makes it not worth the look, to me. I wanna be topless EVERYWHERE!

Thanks, btw...I love my TL too!

Looks super clean!

I think I made my decision on whether or not to get side strakes lol

Thanks,man...yeah, that's something I was contemplating myself and didn't find a whole lot of pictures using google images. I wanted something OEM to kinda add to the visual interest that the front lip had to balance the look toward the rear. They fit the bill...although I admittedly refused to drill the side holes for the upper clip.

No way Jose...no more holes in my cars after the mission I went on losing the high mount spoiler on the TL...
