I think the story behind the civic is that they were trying to hid the motor mounts as they were top secret at the time. those pics of the civic are pretty old. damn taht itr is nice.

i dont think its an f20c, look at where the oil cap is.

 

that photo is not chopped...I remember this car way way way back...the pic is protecting the mounts that were in design to fit the k20a motor into the civic hatch....just hidden the design so that nobody else can copy it...too bad it didnt happen and somebody copied...hahah
