I say nice but don't get carried away-- less is more. Do a few prominent hoses and quit while you're ahead.

I would leave the hoses alone and replace the Cusco cooling plate. Either a carbon cooling plate to match your Vision carbon cover or black powdercoat a aluminum plate. Just my .02

I would leave them black. If you want to clean up the engine bay, all that is needed is to clean up the heatwrap on the AC line and anodize whatever that piece is by the battery black IMO.

rice. no question. Ask yourself why you are replacing the hoses. If the answer is, "so that they match in color." then that is form leading function and that is rice by definition in my book.

You asked...

why would color matching hoses and connectors etc be rice???

Functional and even better parts cant be colored or chosen to aesthetically upgrade the engine bay?????

A hose is a hose, if they are constructed the same. If they happen to come in other colors then it is not rice, it is a concious choice to accessorize

So my blue Samco hoses are rice??? why would samco make other colors than black....hmmm because they look better in some cars, maybe??

A bit too harsh on the def. of rice IMHO

if its blue, its for me!!!!

DO IT!!!!!!!
