If some people can pull off

18x8.5 +49
18x10 +56

THEN I CAN DO IT TOO
I have tomorrow to decide, then my order gets placed!
Damn this shit is making me broke...BUT I know it'll be worth it.

with the help of tire/wheel/rim calculators and numerous spreadsheets I found here on S2ki, I was able to make some calculations.

Here's what I found (just for the front wheels):
My current setup (stock with beefy tires) vs the setup I'm aiming for:
16x6.5 ET 55 vs 18x8.5 ET 49

BackSpace:
150 mm (5.9'') vs
169 mm (6.7'') - 19 mm (0.7'') deeper.

Rim Lip:
18x8.5 should be 31 mm (1.2'') wider

Tire size:
225/50-16 vs 225/40-18

Section width: Should be the same for both = 225 mm (8.9'')

Sidewall:
113 mm (4.4'') vs 90 mm (3.5'')

Tire diameter:
632 mm (24.9'') vs
637 mm (25.1'') - 5 mm (0.8%) taller.

Circumference:
1984 mm (78.1'') vs 2000 mm (78.7'')

Revs per mile: 811 vs 804.6

Clearance:
Suspension - I have no major issues with my current setup
With the new setup, it should clear the suspension easily.

Fenders:
New setup should stick out 6 mm (0.2'') farther

Wheelwells:
New setup should fill out the wheelwell by extra 3 mm.

I am still trying to finish up the calculations of the rear:
16x7.5 +65 vs 18x10 +56 :wiggle:

you are over simplifying it.

dont worry about backspacing and etc

focus on centerline and tire fitment..

I've learned that tire sizing and camber are the two most important factors in making a setup work... Oh and offsets

That was me. I needed those rims to win the show but they had not arrived yet
It's cool. The wait was worth it and I'll just come back bigger and better next year

Thanks for the support.
