Default Noob's first time at Buttonwillow (video)

I was at Buttonwillow this weekend screwing around in the beginner group. It was my first time there. My favorite track so far. I wanna go back already!

I did a 2:25 somewhere in there with that traffic. Kinda disappointing. I'll go to the next S2K Challenge event @ Buttonwillow for instructions.

Just keep at it. There are many great drivers in the S2000 challenge. Best bang for you buck is a G2X.

You think a datalogger will be beneficial even for a newbie? I'll look into it. Thanks.

Don't bother with a data logger yet, heck, even timing isn't needed for a beginner. That's pretty good for a first timer at BW, just focus on cleaning up your lines, using proper gears, and learn about weight balancing and steering. Oh and be careful at Lost Hill and Sunset, those are the most dangerous turns....lots of bad things happen, I know first hand

Def come to the s2kc and ride with some really fast guys, you will shave off several seconds by just learning about speed, see you in Sept (or Aug)

This was a semi-invite only event for industry people. I was part of the staff, volunteering.
