NSX Convertable?
DEFINITELY A NO!
I happened to see another Red NSX in so cal last weekend with a custom convertible top and I actually met the owner and got a personal detailed look of the car and I must admit coming from an NSX owner.....IT WAS HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!!
at least the one in the pic looks clean the one i saw had a freaking rag top! and it was originally a coupe not a t-top

Seeing this reminds me of an ex-friend of mine.
For the longest time, this kid wanted a convertible. He didn't care what kind of car/truck/vehicle it was, he was determined to cut the top off the thing.
I chuckled at the idea. He didn't have a car, and I was assuming that he wouldn't be brave/dumb enough to attempt such a stunt even when he finally got one. Boy was I wrong.
About a year later, he finally got a car. Some late 80's/early 90's ford probe. I was doing security at the time, and he would come over occasionally and visit me. One evening, maybe late summer/early fall, he rolls up in his convertible probe. My face was probably like this
.
He parks, and jumps out w/ the door still closed, dukes of hazard style or something. He's so excited to show me this work he did on the thing. Apparently, he just cut the top right off, and welded the metal back togeather. The edges were jagged and totally unsafe. He had riveted some button snap-like pieces all around the edge, and made up some cover that snapped onto the car, closing up the back seat.
What amazed me was how proud he was. He loved that car to death in the beginning. The clearcoat on it was long gone, but he waxed the car and everything. I guess I can respect a guy who loves what he's got, and makes it into what he wants.
