NSX -R
Hey I'm no fanboy but wondering about the NSX Type R. I was talking to my friend about it and he told me that it is the fastest JDM car. I was sort of in disbelief for a lil so I did some research on it. After some research I guess I was convinced it could possibly be the fastest stock JDM car. 0-60 in 4.4 seconds it is claimed for the car. It's quite obvious that the car doesnt make 276 hp.
I always felt like Skylines, Evo's and STI's could out perform the NSX but I guess for the latest Type R is a completely different story.
I got some videos and information that convinces me it is the fastest JDM car.

Best Motoring 1/4 races
Now as much as I love the NSX and Best Motoring in general, I don't see it beating a GT3 in that 1/4 race. Something smells too fishy over here. Sure it is a very fast car around the track, but not on the 1/4.
I raced a GT3 with my 325WHP and it was not even close let me tell you.
A STOCK RB26TT GT-R34 (rated at 280BHP-is more for sure- and 3432lbs.) gets walked by any tuned NA 2.0L Civic hatch. Yes, we have been looking like this
as well when we saw it happening in front of us. Both cars were driven by drag racers btw.
My car runs a 12.8 1/4 and I was really not even close to a 2004 GT3.
So there is no way that the 13.7 they run on the GT3 (in that vid rated at 360BHP and 2970lbs.) is a fair race.
Sure, the GT-R is AWD and gets better off the line, but the GT3 is lighter and all Porsches are very well known for having REALY good traction=launch.
Someone please clear this up.
Now back to topic...around the track, the last NSX-R is FOR SURE the fastest STOCK JDM car ever made.PERIOD
