I don't know the entire story behind this, but you guys are all idiots. Have you guys ever been stuck in a flood? You have 2 options: let the car sit while you get out and watch it get flood damage, leaving you stranded anyways, 2. pray to god that you make it through even if the car gets damaged.

As long as you have full coverage insurance, why should you care when it would get damaged no matter what you do?

I sorta agree with this, look at my first post. I did the same with my S and the water was probably even deeper. Minimal water came inside the car under the doors and I dried it out in about 20 minutes after. However, a LOT came up over the hood and onto the windshield. That was scary.

Water was rising quickly and I had to get out. Car was new and I had full insurance. Dumb drivers ahead of me with huge SUVs kept stopping for some reason.

Sure you have a point. That would be valid with any other car. This is an NSX we're talking about. Who in their right mind would do that to such a classic, becoming rare car?

Kia, no problem. NSX, wouldn't leave the garage on a day like that.

Just another reason why you don't buy a used car from Florida.

And I don't agree with the insurance argument. A parked car being subjected to flood damage is one thing. Purposely driving your car into deep water, regardless of the reason, is grounds for termination of your insurance policy. Insurance companies are in the business of making money not giving it away. If the owner of that NSX filed a claim, he/she better hope that video doesn't end up in the insurance companies' hands.

No damage whatsoever. By the time I got home, you couldn't even tell anything happened. Some leaves inside the grill, and the carpet inside was a little damp, that's about it.
