The Repsol theme was only done on the CBR1000RR in 2005 and 2007. The quickest way to tell the difference (other than the bodywork changing shape) is the 2007 has a bare aluminum frame and the 2005's frame is black.

 

yup.... what mother says....

 

BTW, that base color on the Repsol is not black, but about the darkest metallic blue you're likely to ever see. You'll even swear it's black in the showroom depending on the lighting, but once you get it out in the sun you'll be really surprised.
