Came back from California a few weeks ago and finally got the chance to get my dream car. Worked for years and invested quite a bit to afford the car. Put a down payment on it. Will be taking delivery sometime next week as the dealer will be shipping the car to a local Ferrari dealer. Finalizing the deal sometime tuesday, so I can't wait. Will take plenty more pics when it comes in. It's an 07 F430 used with 400 miles. It has the F1 transmission, Scuderia Shields, Navigation, Bluetooth(which will never be used), Carbon Ceramic Brakes, Challenge Grill and Custom Seat Inserts. I bought the car with a 2 year powercube warranty and it also comes as a Certified Preowned vehicle, which was extensively checked and serviced before being sold. As we all know, exotics are very expensive if not maintained properly. I still have the S2000, but I it will probably be gone in another month to free up room for another daily driver. I was waiting patiently for the right time to pull the trigger on this one, so this car will be driven quite a bit for the time being. Thank you. I've been driving the heck out of the thing lately. I've already put 1400 miles on the car already. Believe it or not, the prices on the F430's have dropped so significantly because of the economy, that I just saw one for sale on the dupont a few weeks ago for 145k. It had 20k miles on it, but it had all paperwork on its service history. The seller was even willing to pay for the PPI for whoever was a serious buyer. The guy was really trying to get rid of it. My take on the Ferrari market is because of a new Ferrari California coming out and the successor to the 430 to come out as well, its driving the prices down on all the old ones as well. The 430 will prolly hit a floor price of around 100k or so. But they'll increase in value or selling price as the market improves.
