a lot of teenagers are definitely capable of buying s2000s at their going prices these days as long as they saved when they were kids

my cousins all saved all of their money from allowance and summer camp from childhood and had between 10 and 17k by their 18th birthday. they didnt buy s2000s with the money though, toyota sedans.

so it is possible, just highly unlikely. i didnt save for beans as a kid/ teenager and when i got my first integra, all my money went into it. i was broke almost all the time. terrible feeling. i recently had a chance to give up the s2000 for an nsx that had a minor oil leak but it would have meant giving up all my savings and i passed it up because i never wanted to feel that way again

i did get to roll in a couple cool cars during college though, based on luck and keeping my eye out for deals

my favorite college car: bought it just before my 21st birthday after buying a motorcycle for a really good deal, fixing it and selling it for much more

bought a 01 prelude when i was 17, it was my first car and i loved it! sadly last year I got into an accident and was un able to keep it.

im 19 now and I bought a 2003 s2000 last june. I can't really ask for a nicer car but damn I wish I couldve kept my lude!

Love the car man, how do you do it? I make better money than most guys my age i know, but I still can't put aside enough money to put in my car. (mechanical engineer here too btw, been working for almost a year and still school fulltime)

^^^its called not paying bills lol. No amount of part time job can help with buying all those nice parts if you have bills. It would just never be enough.
