I'm interested to see where this thread ends up when I was 21 I was buy parts that other people told me was cool to impress them now that I'm 25 and living on my own I can't afford buying parts to Impress everyone else so now I just buy cheap parts mostly aesthetic parts rather look fast than be fast

Seriously what's wrong with younger S2000 owners?
Age shouldn't matter? Whose to say a 17yo can't whip his or her S around the track better then most S owners on here?
You just never know. Yes, I do agree that it is the younger crowd that tends to be stupid/risky when it comes to a clean fast car but from what Im seeing those S up above are pretty clean.
On top of that most of them are broke college students like myself lol but all in time alone will it get better.

 

bought my00 almost a year ago when i was 20, im 21 now. Not that broke. Mommy and daddy didnt pay a dime.

here's how it looked when I drove it home. She had 6,700 miles on the clock then. No thats not a typo. Totally stock, completely flawless.






about 6 months later, the car was vandalized. Keyed every panel and cut softtop. Probably going to get flamed that "young people getting caught up in this young people baby mama drama" crap. No, this vandalism was completely random, It happened in amesbury which is one of the quietest, safest, and wealthiest towns around. Anyways, I was heartbroken. Never much liked SSM.
