okay so i looked through about 30 pages and I can't find these wheels running on any S2 with stock height.

I'm in the process of buying Gold RPF1's:

17x8 +45 front
17x9 +45 rear

and i want to wrap:

225/45/17 front
255/40/17 rear

My main concern before I spend $1700 is, will I rub on stock suspension? Coil overs and camber tune is out of question, I don't want to touch that stuff until I'm hitting up more track days, that's years down the line. If I rub, I'll be forced to resell them, and I'd rather not do that.

Could I get any help?

THANKS!

at stock height, it won't rub unless you hit a pothole or bump pretty hard.

I have the same setup except I dropped it a couple inches recently.

Why not pickup a set of AP2 V2 wheels? These would look much better if your not dropping your S2 IMO

Is that 17/9.5+38 all around or just rears?
17x9 +45 front / 17x9.5 +38 rear

here is a pic of them side by side.
its easier to notice the differance in the depth of the center hub.

He told me 245/255 yesterday. I'm going to meet up with him when he installs them so we can both have our fenders flared more.

yeap. I'm want a more meaty wide-track look. I hope with a little camber and pleanty of roll/pull I'll be able to squeeze the 255 on the rear. I know the 245 will fit the front cause I test fit a 9.5 +53 with a 265 and it fit like a glove w/ no camber.

^good tire size choice. I've definitely considered doing the same thing. I had 17x9 +45s with 255s before. I want to the 9.5s with 255s all around next time.

You shouldn't have too much trouble fitting those out back. I switched from 17x9 +45s to some ce28s that were 17x9 +40 and didn't have to do anything to make them fit. Found a wheel fitment calculator thing and it's pretty much telling me if the 17x9 +40s fit with no problem the 9.5 +38s will as well. For reference I'm running -3.3 degrees out back.

Here is a pic for reference as to how the 9 +45s fit with a 255. Looks to me like I've got plenty of room for more

Bro, your car looks cleannnn!!

I was thinking of blacking out my rpf1s but I think the f1 silver just has a classic look to it.
