Do you think installing an in-dash navi will help up the resale value or devalue, since it's not OEM. If it does up the value, what are your estimations for it? $500 more?

I've been thinking about just buying a the new Nokia N95 for the GPS and buying an Alpine headunit for the hands-free bluetooth feature, instead of an indash unit with all the features.

I never thought of resale value since I'm not likely to ever sell this car - it's my toy car to keep me busy with my modding habit

But as with any mods if you sell the car to someone who appreciates it they will pay more. Sell it an old grandma and they won't know the difference.

I have a lot more than $500 in this indash....hahahahaha (I wish)
