Unless something has changed in the maintenance documentation from the MY2000-2001 S2000's, the first oil change wasn't/isn't supposed to happen until well past 3000 miles....I think it states somewhere around 7500 miles.


...oh, and "yeah!" The car has horrid 20" wheels. It's being sold by the dealership. If you're really interested in the car, go down to the dealership, negotiate $1500 off the car (the cost to get used AP2 wheels and tires), and then use the chrome boat anchors for winter wheels, throw on your SUV, or sell them for a rediculously low amount to recoup your doc fee.

Other than the wheels, it's a "close to new" stock car with very little mileage on it, that could go for a very discounted price if you bargain properly.

 

A person who has that little regard for the car probably wasn't too nice to it during the break-in process
