These HIDs are a pain in the butt, gotta agree with the flashers, actually. Last night I was running out to the store and I noticed some blue lights facing me as I approached a stop light (I was in my beater Pathfinder) and wondered what make car I would find when I reached the traffic light. The nearer I got the brighter they got until even I had to admit (as a HID owner who doesn't want to admit it) that they were distractingly bright. I get to the light and it's an S2K. The discovery I made when comparing what it was about them that made them obnoxious was that the light hitting my windshield really *sparkled*, like a star filter on a camera lense, from the HIDs. When faced with conventional lights, no sparkling. It's the glare that they cause rather than the brightness. Probably has something to do with the color spectrum. I may invest in some HID lids down the road just to keep everyone happy, including me, since I don't want to be flashed continuously.

PS Oracle, I've discovered that sigs with images only appear in your first post in the thread. All posts thereafter don't load the images or the sig text. A bug in the bbs, I suspect, or in the browsers we use (Internet Exploiter 6 here)

I agree that to face HID's can sometimes be unnerving, but I love being in the car that has them. The crisp white light is so nice. It's funny because the s2000 is especially annoying to have in the rearview because the tight suspension has them giggling more than the headlights in Oracle's sig.
