If it's for a parking violation I don't feel bad for him. There are plenty of places to park downtown and it's not like parking garages are expensive in Savannah. You can park all day in some for like 5 bucks.

But, yeah, does suck they didn't use a flat bed.

 

Come on people. It looks like he parked on the sidewalk, for 's sake. How self absorbed do you have to be to actually park on the sidewalk? That snobby b*stard deserves to be taught a lesson.

If I'm misjudging what's going on, then my bad. I agree that it blows to get towed from an uncrowded (if not empty) business lot after hours, and other situations were a ticket (or just letting us park) would do. But that first pic looks like he's on a walkway to me.

 

That's not a walk way, it's a medium that divide this two way street and the truck is making a u turn. But I agree anyway. I used to park in downtown Savannah all the time and not pay the meters. I would come back a few hours later... WHAT'S THIS?! A TICKET!?!?! Obviously, if you park ilegally there will be some reprocusions. After having lived in Hawai'i though I gotta say that parking in Savannah is no big deal. It's cheap and on weekends you can park for free.

btw, i'd NOT park in downtown savannah, especially on weekend nights where all the drunks drive around, they'll hit your car and run :-\

 

I don't think I've seen your baby around yet. I think I ran in bjechols the other day. I have spoken to two other stook owners, a lady in a silverstone 00-03 and a guy in a Spa with GU vanity plates. Still trying to pull together a meet for around here.
