Operation Clean Garage
So I can't stand walking around stuff in my garage. It used to be clean but now it's filled with parts, tools, and junk. I plan to clean the floor of the oil as best as I can. Then etch it, then paint it using concrete paint. Then the walls. Obviously for the walls I will use a satin or semi-gloss paint so if I ever decide to clean it, it is easy.
Any ideas on colors for the floor and walls?? Should I just go with White or go with a bold color?
Oh, and I will be getting a shed for the backyard so no more lawn care stuff in the garage. Strictly car related items and the car since it's a small one-car garage.
The Before(no after yet since I just did it today

Pretty big difference already. On the color, I think maybe mixing it up with a color besides white would be cool/different. Maybe put a Honda emblem on it? Haha.
Honda wallpaper If you look at the last picture and look straight to the furthest wall, I want a nice wide poster there. I'll look some up and maybe go to the dealer and see if they'll give me an S2000 one.
A friend of my dad's redid his garage not too long ago, and he was also on a budget. Originally, it was just a plain garage with unpainted walls, one window, and oil stained concrete for a floor.
First, he repainted it a light neutral color (it looked like an off-white). He added some cheap lights here and there for added visibility (IKEA is the best!
), and it turned out pretty good and looked really clean.
He also went with those floor tiles in the pic above. With regards to the durability of the tiles, they've held up just fine with his SUV (and all the maintenance he does on it). He's spilled oil on them, jacked up that heavy assed SUV, and they're still holding up pretty good.
