Out with the old, and in with the new
Well I decided it was time to part out and sell the 01 AP1 back in August, and find a replacement with a bit more comfort and room. I ended up buying a 03.5 M3 soon after, Titanium Silver on Imola Red, with all options. Overall, I don't have a single complaint about the car yet. Power and torque is great, it's quite comfortable, and best of all very versatile for my needs, as opposed to the 2-seater. It's a CPO, with 2 years warranty remaining and was very well taken care of by it's original owner.
I will say I deeply miss the tranny in the s2k. That was by far the best joy of driving that car on a daily basis, what a great gearbox that car had.

Nice choice...but damn your S2k was so nice. I have those particular pictures of it saved on my computer as plans for my cars future. I'm either going LM's or CE's.
I believe my next car will be an M3 also...though I don't know if it'll be E46, I may look at E92
