Wow!!! Awesome work. Thanks....you've made up my mind on certain things, and confused me slightly on another.

I'm almost sure that I won't be getting the wheels powdercoated black. I really like the Sebring with the black top, but so much for the Silverstone. However, I like the Silverstone alot on it's own...it's almost the BMW SteelGray, but it's not.

Do I go all Silverstone (including the face of the wheels) or Sebring, with Black top?
Thoughts.

BTW, if it's not too much to ask, can I have you extend the black on the c-pillar with a curved line that connects the bottom of the rear window to the bottom edge of the rear 3/4 driver's side window....here's what I'm looking for:

Ok, graphic manipulation isn't my stong-suit, so laugh if you must at my .gif.

I see what you are going after but the lines on the car do not follow that path and it would bad IMO to "create" a stop point for the black top.

I personally like black rims, so I am biased. Over all, I would kill the black top idea unless you are dead set on doing it. There is no reall good spot to draw the line (so to speak) unless you do a black hood and trunk. Plus the Beemer crowd might revolt against you, they are a tad on the touchy side. I would paint the car Moonrock instead of Sebring or Silverstone. I own a Silverstone and want to paint it Moonrock. it is a trick-azz color.

As far as rims keep them stock color or go darker than the color you pick for the car if you want colored rims at all. Do not do an off color like red/blue/green etc

I agree with Primo on the top. Luder, if you make the line as you suggested, it doesn't match the arc of the bottom of the rear window. The lines just aren't quite right. It would be best to either do it the way it is in my previous chops or the way the other guys did it. But then you'd need to paint the trunk and wing also to make everything match up.

I posted these up over at e46fanatics to get their opinions as well.

As it stands, I'm not blown away with the Sebring with black top like I thought I would be. That's not to say that I don't like it.

On the flip-side, I think I am taken with the Silverstone p-shop. I didn't think Silverstone would look good as it does on the car (I wouldn't be doing the black top in this case).

Originally I suggested to the wife that the car get painted Black or Imola-red. She doesn't want black for the fact that the S2000 is black and the Integra is going black. She's up for red as long as it's either a marroon, cyan, or brandy-candy wine.

The car needs repaint because the last autobody shop that did some repair work couldn't match the paint -NOR- could he blend properly. That combined with the front bumper cover needing some TLC after a Chicago winter warrants me getting a paint swap.

If it's not too much to ask and you've got a version already saved with the whole car being Silverstone, can you post that up? BTW, how much darker is Moonrock than Silverstone?

Moonrock thread

Personally this is the neatest color so far. it has pearl properties that takes it far beyond a simple metallic IMHO

Are you married to honda colors?? What does BMW have to offer? they have some nice pearls too. What about the blues Monte Carlo is Hawt!!!!
