I've very recently came over from owning an 04 Corvette. I sold the Vette for a price I couldn't refused and while looking at Vettes decided that I was more of a S2000 guy then a Vette guy!!!
Anyway one of the first mods the Corvette folks do is paint their brake calipers. I have not seen any painted ones on the S2K's that I have ever seen, is there a reason for this? I think I'm going to paint mine but was just wondering about why others don't?
A search in the gallery would turn up a lot of threads. Lord knows there are plenty of us that have done it. Also, grinding down the casting marks will give them an even cleaner look.

imo this is the only way to do it. make it nice and smooth before painting so it looks oem.
my brakes are black with white decals, absolutely beautiful. i think at least half of us have painted our calipers. stickers used to be available here:
