Default Painted some stuff

I got creative this weekend and painted my Grille-Tech front grille silver.. well, fully silver, without the black trim now. Its also a brighter silver than before.

I also ran out and bought some caliper paint and spent the rest of my time painting the calipers. Ok, the directions said do all four wheels at once, but I only had the supplies to take one wheel off at a time, so it took longer.

It was fun though.

Oh, and I got my key hole inserts today, finally.. yay!

The car needs a bath, I know. I'm doing that tomorrow, then it'll get to sit indoors for 2 weeks while I go off on a trip. Gotta leave the baby clean, I'd feel guilty otherwise.

Next mod.. um.. clear my headlights? How hard is that to do?

Good work.

Please don't change your wheels - the original 16" are still my favorite on the S2000. Though yours could use a cleaning (:

Thanks much, I took some pics of the clean car this morning, and I'll post them tonight.

But yeah, I like the wheels too, but the previous owner hit a few curbs with them, so I was thinking of powdercoating them in the future as a cost effective way of renewing them. Do you think that'll work?

Here's the pics I took today of my S:

Nothing too fancy, just some little mods here and there.

Thanks.

Front Lip.. yes! It'll probably be the next item I buy for the S.

Rims? Well I was thinking of just powdercoating my current rims black, I like the look, and I can't afford a nice set of rims/tires right now. :/

Suspension - is that to lower the ride height I am guessing you are getting at?

Thanks for the feedback

fellow bay area guy

i like it.. clean clean clean.. only thing im not a fan of is red badges... on silver i like the amber in the headlights and sidemarkers... same with black... but i guess thats personal preference.. the clearing isnt too hard.. jus time consuming if you've never done it before and have no help...

also.. for your calipers... it looks kinda funny... maybe painting the other bracket as well? it looks like half lime green half red now..

other than that the powdercoating and a front lip would complete the look

my $.02

you might want to consider painting your grill black.

Hey beanolo! Fellow Bay-arian!

Thanks for the feedback. The other bracket on the caliper, I am not sure I can paint that part? Do you know of anyone else who painted that part? I'd love to do it but I guess I didnt want to paint something I wasnt very sure about.

/edit: looks like others have painted this part also, so it must be safe I'll get on that.

Yeah, maybe once the new year starts up, I'll have enough to buy the front lip. The previous owner scratched the the front bumper alot, just at the bottom, so this will really be a great upgrade for me, not to mention that the car feels so naked up front without it.

I'll post some pics when I get to that stage.. front lip/powdercoat/clears
