alright, finally got around to painting a set of my stock ap1 rims (got two sets of ap1 rims). the black ap1 rims give it a more "street racer" look contrasting my tsw vortex's elegant bmw style look.

Got bored and painted my ap2 v1's last week.

Used regular spray body paint. Color is the black from the Chrysler 300. It has blue specs so they look good with suzuka. I've seen them done with flat paint and didn't like em. People have asked me if they came like that from factory. LOL

 

Oh nice, wonder what it would look like if you did like 3 coats, then wet sanded and buffed with compound but with no clear coat, hmmmm
