So after debating whether to get rid of my Advan RG II's or keep them and refinish them I've decided I love the wheels so why not freshen them up with a new coat of paint. I'm just torn between a few colors, I love dark wheels but my wife is sick of me having dark so I'm looking for some "outside" opinions.

Here is how they currently look on the car, it's an SSM AP1.


I'm open to all opinions, but I'm old so nothing crazy like lime green

 

I am in the exact same predicament; same exact car, but different wheels. Thinking a matte gun metal is about the best option

 

I would vote for a Bronze option if it was there.

Since its not, I'll say gunmetal.

 

I'm in the same boat... I'm looking for this powder coat: Hyper Bronze also called Hi meta Bronze. Does any one know were we can get this powder coat???

 

That is the exact color I would do as well.

 

I voted gunmetal. But I'm feeling Volk bronze lately.

 

A hyper type color would be nice. Like the new Advann RZ

and to make my post relevant, i vote gunmetal. (i'm a lil biased though )

 

leave them gold. paint or powder coat will add weight to the rims. probably not alot but some. but if you must.....gunmetal! and i would definatly go powder coat. paint won't take abuse like pc (rock chips). with the change.
