Default Parting shots

I've been a lurker on the site for quite a while, but had little participation in the forums. I did however gain much valuable information on the car from the great members of this site. My original plans to autocross the car fell through when my life became a little complicated and the car became a seldom used garage queen ( 2002 with 38,000 miles). Thurs she goes to the Lexus dealer as a trade in and I'll really miss this car. Here's the few photos I have of the car after 5 years of ownership.

My only glamour shot.

The custom speakers which were and enormous improvement in sound.

The Tenacious fogs. I've since lost the my DIY on these.

And the S earning it's keep carrying a full size door (sans passenger seat).
Thanks for the memories s2ki!

Good luck with your new Lexus.

BTW, I really like those foglights you fabbed up...looks very OEM-ish. If you ever dig up the DIY for them, definitely come back and post it up.

Actually they were all pretty eager to get the car. I will admit I was insulted by the trade in value, and I hadn't realized the car had depreciated so much. But the Blue Book for selling it myself wasn't' much better. The value of a low mileage pampered car vs. a high mileage abused car isn't much, so, the bottom line is that I should have driven the piss out of the car, not parked in the middle of nowhere obsessing over door dings, and let my daughter eat ice cream in it. Carpē the S2000!
