Default PhotoShoot: E46 Coupe

Hi,

This is my first photo shoot of a car that I have ever done with my DSLR I purchased many months ago. I am still trying to get the hand of things and so I welcome comments, criticism, and advice to further improve my photographs. Here is a 3 series coupe I modified for my sister.

I know there is glare here but I did not know how to get rid of it, though I tried to incorporate it in the picture.

Thankyou,
Tony

you can get out glare with a circular polarizer.

as far as the LM's there are plenty of knock offs for bmws but they could be real.

S2000's are the only rims that are bad to have good fitments of knock off rims

Nice pics, a CR polarizer will help minimize the glare. What camera/lens do you have?

I am using a Rebel XT with Sigma 17-70.

BTW, I intentionally left the interior of the car in color, trying to make it stand out. This may or may not have worked lol

Thanks,
Tony

It worked well, imho. I am no photography expert, but the pictures are great!

The white balance on the photo throws it off since you made the background bw the blue tint and cast on the car makes it sorta weird looking. If you adjust the white balance in RAW to get the blue cast out of the photo then do a bw background I think that would make it better. Also the last pic with motion in the wheels looks fake with a static background but motion in the wheels.

My intention was to have the background B&W and the car in color so that it would stand out. The blue tint does make it it look weird and I have edited some blue tint out of the windows. I am unsure if I should do it to the body since it would make it look like a typical B&W shot. I shot this pictures in JPEG, I will shoot in raw next time and try to use your advice to come up with better pictures or at least play with the WB. I appreciate it.
