on a serious note, medicalstudents car has got to have gotten up to 50-60 layers by now.
one of my tips would have to be if you want to add something just add it to a new layer, that way you don't have a permanent change and can see how it looks with and without.
keep track of your layers, name them please.
STEP 1 is the easiest!!! honestly the best advice i can give you is that it is a sketch, if you don't think your sketch is looking good **** what you think and keep going, the only way to learn how to draw is practice, drawing has nothing to do with phenomenal talent or some god given talent, it is more about practice and patience and the No. 1 thing being able to draw is based on is . . . . . how you see the world in general. You have to be crazy, if you aren't crazy you can't draw.
