Hey guys. I have searched and cant find that many good pics of people that have converted their ap1 tails to ap2's with the stock rear bumper. I would appreciate it if someone could post some good pics how it looks.

was it a direct bolt on or did you have do to ne mods?

 

you have to cut the metal of the quarter panel behind the light and you have to hack up the stock wiring

 

You can also buy the plug and play kit from hardtop.com and not cut up your wiring. Do have to cut the quarter panel to make them fit no matter what though. I am thinking of doing this swap shortly. Looks real nice.

 

Thanks for the pics! yeah I am really tempted to do this now. I would just buy the install kit from hardtopguy to do the wiring and stuff. I wouldnt really mind the cutting part either. I think it would be worth it!

 

i think the ap1 is cute and how the white circle has the top half light up yellow for a turn. the ap2 setup is nice also but i don't know if i'd want to do the conversion though, the ap2 headlights are much prettier though...

Theres a DIY thread that was made. Thats how I did mine without having to buy the install kit.

 

Yeah looks awesome! I want to swap the headlights also. Those things are damn pricey though.
