Youre right about JDM kits needing a full setup, and about GPW and Top Secret... I don't want sides or a rear... Dang... I want something simple and clean. I am now thinking of just the OG J's 1/2 Bumper... AJ-R CF side diffusers, and my single exhaust cap and BYS wing.

if you're planning on getting rid of your mugen lip, you should get the Amuse R1 front or the J's 1/2 bumper. both will go with the ajr side, bys wing, and single exhaust.

J's half, aj-r sides, j's diffusor=sexy. I ALMOST decided to do that last week until the seller dicked out. but if u get the j's half, make sure u get the canards too so it'll run a lil high

you can def pull off the J's Type S bumper w no sides or rear. i did and it looked great. looks fine to me in those Speedstar pics also. the front doesn't sit lower than stock, so it's not like you need the rest of the kit to flow w it. believe me, it looks fine just by itself

I like the TS more on other colors I think.

The J's canards make the 1/2 look SO much better... But then that is a $900 bumper before shipping and paint!!! I'd rather get a quality JDM bumper for around a 1G. HMMMM....

I think since you already have a set budget, you should just pick whichever you think looks the best. If you don't like the TS bumper as much, then don't buy it just because its a full bumper.

i actually purchased a j's half bumper w/canards and the total was close to the j's full bumper with the cf splitter. so i just decided to get the full bumper. j's half bumper, aj diffusors, and j's rear diffusors sounds pretty good. amuse R1 bumper would flow well with that combo as well. something not too agressive but simple and clean in my opinion
