So, to clear this up, the Seibon one fits like ass and weighs less? Does the Seibon one even come with all hardware required for install because the hardware cost nearly $400? Damn, I might as well get the FRP Mugen hardtop.

it's hit or miss apparently. My seibon top fits better than the OEM one.

hardware is not included with Seibon top.

but the FRP one is heavvvvvyyyy... 44-45lbs!

I did a lot of research on hardtops and made a thread about it:
https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?act=S...0#entry13653381

remember, a lot of the guys who bash the seibon have little/no experience with them...or got one from a bad batch. out of the Mugen replicas, it's the best one.

it really comes down to... do you want to pay for the mugen badge and have a heavier hardtop.

I invite anyone to come check out my seibon to check fitment. Guarantee it fits just as good, if not better than the Mugen/OEM tops. I'm in Vegas.

Thanks for the info./input Driven and MugenAP2. Searching is a little difficult on this forum. I usually prefer the authentic parts, but if it is unjustifiable, I would prefer to get something that works for cheaper. I CF weave doesn't matter to me because I usually paint my parts anyways wet or dry.

cause... you know... that's important when you're getting passed on a track

"damn, his CF weave looks horrible! I don't care if he's running faster laps, because I have good looking CF weave"

LOL

Ok so you got lucky. What if it was a miss? Then you are out 3,000$. Regardless Siebon will never fit as good as Mugen.

This thread isn't about Seibon vs. Mugen

Knock it off.
