if your just going for the basic black wheel basic spoon design look they will work for you. if you want it too look exactly like spoon rim i would not recomend buying these. if you have seen a real spoon in person or know what to look at you can tell right away they are not the same. honestly if you love the look buy the real thing. it will be money well spent

I hate how the spoons look, so look to spend another $200.00 on power coating flat black to get rid of the dull light mud looking color.

I believe in the real deal, my "rims" are the only thing I went "cheap" on so to speak. Because, I love the Spoon design, ala slipstreams. No real gains going with Spoons, 2lbs lighter (If that?), and no better of a stagger based on rim width itself.

I didn't buy these to make people think they're spoons, I could careless, because everything else on my car is the real deal...

So I say go with them, just don't try and make people think they're something they're not.

i'm not sure what you mean by mud look? it just a flat look. because its a racing rims. and when you take 2 lbs off each corner of the car of rotating mass thats a large amount. if he is going for the SPOON LOOK like he said then the real spoon wheels are the only way to go. that being said when you say everything else on your car is the real deal, what are we talking about? cause last i heard you where running knock off parts and short ends? besides the car itself what is the real deal?

You are correct. The wheels if they are authentic will have decals from Desmond and they should be stamped made in Russia on them. They are not actual Spoon wheels. Spoon paid to use that specific color and style.

On every catalog I have seen they are marketed as Spoon SW388s.
