If the RPF1 was forged it would be running for a lot more. WyattH is right, MAT cast, just like some AMEs. But damn, FN01RCs look awesome when they are that concave.

I'm not 100% sure, but I would think by how little material they use on the RPF1. The spokes are thin. Maybe I'm wrong and that their MAT Technology is really good. Check out their website, they might have some information on it.

Same as Advan.. Just because it's cast = crap. Different casting process.
MAT Cast is very similar to forging in terms of weight and strength.
Don't know about the 5zigen wheel particularly, but I wouldn't say it's weak just because it's cheap and light.
