I purchased my S a few months ago and the previous owner had tints on the car (20%). I would like light tints and want to see what 50% looks like on an s2k before I remove the current ones. I even thought about just removing the side tints and leaving just the rear but we'll see. Thanks

 

50% is like having no tint at all. Try 35% all around.

 

Not to threadjack but on a related note im actually not sure if I should get 20 or 35, so pics of any would help lol.

Id also like to see what a 50% film looks like applied. Here in Maryland, you need to have 35% light transmittance by law or plan on getting pulled over alot. 35% film is too dark due to the glass only having around 80% light transmittance from the factory. Anyhow, I plan on getting 50% film, just curious now.

 

45% side & 35% rear. As you can see, it looks like I don't have any tint at all and it's 45%.

 

around 35% tint on windows and much darker on HT window, I find this a good combo
