For those ap1 owners with ap2 tails, was it a bitch to cut the metal in order to fit the new tails in?

It honestly wasnt as bad as I thought. It did take some time to do it good, but it worked. I actually drilled holes all the way around where I was going to cut, and that made it easier to go through it all.

yeh, wasnt too hard.
but u need to becareful when cutting,
try and cut it as close as possible, or you will get condensation in the lights, had to redo my right light cause i got water in there

Im going to guess that there is a foam gasket you guys used as a template? I havey eyes set on a used pair and i doubt he will include the gasket, if there is one?
