Default Pic Request: Bare Metal Valve Cover

Wassup guys,

Well after massive amount of thinking, I've decided to make the move of sanding down my valve cover to complete bare metal because i think it would look extremely good (That and beacuse, its starting to chip a little) Sure I really like the OEM red the car comes with, but it just clashes with a lot things when doing interior mods. To be honest, I'm really a big fan of the B-Series Black Wrinkle coat valve covers you see on of a B16, B17, B18 etc etc. I saw a couple of pictures a while ago with just a bare back, sanded valve cover with the AP1 Spark Plug Cap and it looked awesome.

If anyone has pictures of Bare Metal Valve Covers installed on there car, as well as dark colors such as Blacks, Greys, Gunmetals, and even Cusco Blue, can you please post them?

I have seen Polished Valve covers, but that is not what im tecnically looking for. Thanks for you time.

- Don

Here is one I did for XclusiveAutosports (Mike.....)

Bare......

Chrome PCoat.......(basecoat)

Lollipop (candy) Blue topcoat......

IMHO, the aluminum the VC is made of, isnt very pretty, I would coat it with a nice color of your choice...the color list is almost endless.....you can even get it colormatched to your car.
