The ce28nf in the front is to clear spoon calipers without spacers while keeping the stock fenders (ce28n's you need a large spacer and/or low offset). The ce28nf do not come in a 9" rear so I'd have to go with a 8.5" rear with +53 offset compared to the ce28n which comes in the 9" rear with a +63 offset. This way I can run wider rubber in the rear and lower the car without worrying about rolling the front or rear fenders. The volk rims because they are forged and light weight. The rims look much more a like in person than in the picture here. More like they are just different widths and offsets than two seperate models of rims. Also just trying something different.

From the side profile the diameter does look a bit smaller in the rear. At an angle you don't notice it as much because of the depth and curve of the spokes. The small lip on the rear compared to no lip on the front makes the rear look much wider than the front so there are some trade offs. I noticed to that the ce28nf weighed about as much as the rear ce28n even though it isn't as wide. I got around 16lbs for the 17x8 ce28nf. I think it looks good, but I guess I'm going for more functional points than style.
