Default Pic request: Custom Door Panels

I cant decide on using my AP1 door panels or buying AP2 door panels. Both have a great look. Ive seen many different interiors but not too many custom door panels. What I mean is changing up the color of the inserts to "red, blue, silver" etc or even wrapping the door panels in different fabrics. I know theres a guy that just did an interior in red and it looks great BUT before I start mine.....id like to see whats out there to get some ideas.

If you have some pics......please post them.

thanks

You can surely get an idea from others, but to my knowledge, we're the only ones who've wrapped the entire panel. The bottom part of the door is incredibly difficult because you have to stretch the material two ways and you really have no control over the stitching so it takes a ton of effort to make sure it's straight along that edge. That's the reason we have 12 hours in one door panel alone.

$800 would only cover one of our door panels. It's not as easy as some might think. You don't just glue material to the plastic. It's not making a simple door card or covering the top of the panel itself. For starters, the material doesn't stretch and does not easily mold to the contours of the door or dash or whatever you're using. This material was mainly meant for relatively flat surfaces with little change. As I said before, the bottom is supremely difficult because you have to stretch the material two ways so that it's tight to the panel and then you really have no control over where the stitching is, thus the stitching has to be absolutely perfect.
