I could look over those pictures forever. Still think he should have kept the CE's, the RS's never looked as good to me.

Yeah same. I do see what he was trying to do with the RS's, but I think I prefer the CE's as well.

Also, dat diffuser/exhaust combo.

Same here with the CEs. The new owner ruined that car. Before all the excessive aero, huge wings and hellaflush fad, this was the benchmark. Even today, still makes alot of cookie-cutter cars look like shit.

I definitely liked the car more with the CEs, but it was a very clean look with the RSs. The things I'd do to get those CEs back...

And the new owner didn't completely destroy the car. I think it was boosted (biggest mistake), and they installed an ASM rear wing. At least they are quality parts.

It's a car a large percentage of people would walk past and not look at twice. It has a lot of hidden detail and is the definition of less is more. Not to mention everything works as one, there are no all seasons stretched on Rotas that are in the lowest offset with mangled fenders. It could be a show winner, back road demon, or a track car. Everything serves a purpose and still has visual appeal doing it.

Massive thank you to Andrewhake for posting those pictures up. Diez's car is like the holy grail of S2000's. I loved this build from day 1. Reliving it through those pictures was such a joy.

Diez's s2000 is like a noob detector. If someone doesn't know about it they haven't been around very long.
Agreed x1000000 on everything you said! I had to put mo19249 on my signature like last month for making that rookie noob comment, hehe.
