i'm gonna do it, just seeing if anyone has done it and has pics of how it turns out.

 

correct me if im wrong, but i think a lot of people would rather get their header coated in jet hot because if i remember correctly if you daily drive the car with header wrap the wrap holds in water and doesnt allow it to dry therefore damaging the header and even cracking it. I was thinking the same for my J's header until i read that info. But again i could be wrong.

Stock headers are so cheap who cares if it eventually gets damaged......

 

looks really good... i was gonna do it with the lighter tape, and on my dc sports header(also really cheap).

 

did you notice the engine bay not being quite as hot? or is that bologna??

Yes the bay is cooler....I don't have any of the heatshields in the bay anymore also....
